A CBS tévécsatornán szerdán jelentették be az 52. Grammy-díj jelöltjeit 109 kategóriában. Beyoncé 10, Taylor Swift 8 díjra esélyes a január 31-ére tervezett gálaesten. Beyoncé Single Ladies és Lady Gaga Poker Face című számát is jelölték a legjobb dal kategóriában. A legjobb együttes kategóriában a Black Eyed Peast, Bon Jovit, az MGMT-t, a Darryl Hall & John Oates duót és a The Frayt jelölték.
